AS Roma and Liverpool are among clubs showing interest in Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski, the Daily Mail has revealed.
Despite showing a great deal of potential at Friuli, the Polish footballer was loaned to Empoli in the summer of 2014, which proved an excellent career move for him.
After initially struggling for playing time, the 21-year-old developed into a key player for the Azzurri, scoring 3 goals and producing 4 assists in 27 Serie A starts this season.
The Daily Mail claims that Liverpool are keen to lure the youngster to Anfield in the summer and they are set to make the first move.
At the same time, AS Roma are in the race as well, with Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta confirming the speculation last month.
Piotr Zielinski has so far made 11 appearances for Poland and he is widely tipped to be included in the country’s Euro 2016 squad.
