Italian daily Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AS Roma are stepping up their efforts to sign two talented footballers.
The same source has suggested that the Giallorossi are on the verge of reaching an agreement for OFK Beograd defender Petar Golubovic.
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has opened talks with the Serbian outfit a while back and he seems to have agreed to lure the talented defender to Stadio Olimpico in the summer.
Petar Golubovic, 19, shone at the Under-19 European Championship this summer, where he helped Serbia win the coveted title, before making 10 league appearances for OFK Belgrade this term.
Meanwhile, Roma are also keeping close tabs on Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim, who is currently on loan at Stromsgodset.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a very good campaign in Norway, making 27 league appearances and scoring 2 goals in a season that saw his side pip Rosernborg to the league trophy.
With Lazio and Fiorentina also keen, Roma will attempt to sign Ibrahim at the earliest opportunity.
