AS Roma aim to recruit Juan Manuel Iturbe and Marko Basa in the summer transfer window, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
The Giallorossi still have the first option on the Argentine attacker, and they are reportedly close to reaching an agreement over the transfer fee.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma will offer €20 million plus midfielder Marquinho in exchange for Juan Manuel Iturbe.
Hellas Verona recently exercised the option to turn Iturbe’s loan deal into permanent move for €15 million, but they only did it in order to gain a profit by re-selling the player this summer.
Meanwhile, Roma are set to complete the signing of experienced defender Marko Basa from Lille, a player the Giallorosssi boss Rudi Garcia knows all too well.
Having coached him at Le Mans and Lille, the Roma coach is determined to lure him to Stadio Olimpico as well and it appears he will succeed in his quest.
