AS Roma are stepping up their efforts to sign Barcelona full-back Adriano Correia, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Having cashed in on Jose Holebas, the Giallorossi have made signing a left-back one of their priorities and the Catalans defender has emerged as their top target.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the 30-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
And while the two clubs have yet to agree on a transfer fee, it is believed Barcelona will not stand in the player’s way this summer.
Despite mostly acting as back-up to Dani Alves and Jordi Alba, Adriano has made no fewer than 106 La Liga appearances during the five years at Camp Nou.
He now looks ready to leave Barcelona in search of first team football, with Stadio Olimpico the most likely destination.
In case they fail to lure Adriano to Rome, the Giallorossi will turn their attention to one of Lucas Digne, Arthur Masuaku and Guilherme Siqueira.
