AS Roma are close to completing a deal to sign Czech striker Patrik Schick from Sparta Prague, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Giallorossi will have money to spend this summer as they are set to cash in on Adem Ljajic, Iago Falque and Antonio Sanabria, and while they are looking to sign experienced footballers who can slot straight into the starting line-up, the Stadio Olimpico outfit are also after players for the future.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma are hot on the trail of Sparta Prague forward Patrik Schick, with just €1 million separating the two sides at the moment.
An agreement should be reached soon on a transfer fee believed to be around €3.5 million, and there is a possibility that the 20-year-old will be immediately loaned out to Sampdoria, who are also keen.
Patrik Schick impressed during a loan stint with Bohemians, bagging 8 goals in 27 league outings, while scoring 8 goals in 7 Under-21 European Championship qualifiers.
