La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that AS Roma are stepping up their efforts to sign Belgian attacker Yannick Ferreira Carrasco from Monaco.
The Giallorossi have so far recruited Seydou Keita, whilst Ashley Cole, Urby Emanuelson and Salih Ucan are set to follow.
If some of the interested sides match their €40 million valuation of Mehdi Benatia, Roma officials will make a move on Fiorentina’s Juan Cuadrado, but they also have a plan B in place.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that the Giallorossi are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Monaco for talented forward Yannick Ferreira Carrasco for a fee of €5 million.
The 20-year-old has spent his entire professional career at Stade Louis II, making a total of 45 league appearances and scoring 9 goals.
He is a regular member of Belgium Under-21 side, but has yet to be handed a senior debut for his country.
