Roma are prepared to make Fabio Borini’s loan from Parma permanent, according to sporting director Claudio Fenucci.
The forward joined Roma on loan from Parma on transfer deadline day last summer, and the Giallorossi have the option to make the transfer permanent.
In spite of the fierce competition for places in attack at Olimpico, the Italian Under-21 international has already earned a starting berth in Luis Enrique’s side.
Roma bought half of the share in the player in January for €2.3 million and they plan to purchase the remaining half at the end of the season.
“We will talk to Parma in June about Borini,” Giallorossi director Claudio Fenucci told Sky Sport Italia before last night’s match against Siena.
“We’ll look to find the best solution for us and for them.”
Borini joined Parma on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer before he was loaned to Roma just few months later.
The 20-year-old has done well in his first season at Olimpico, scoring 5 goals in 13 Serie A games.
