AS Roma are readying January bid for Auxerre winger Paul-Georges Ntep, according to Il Messagero.
The Giallorossi are expected to reinforce the squad in the winter in an attempt to get their title bid back on track, with the Serie A side likely to do some shopping in France.
And while Roma are already showing interest in full-backs Sebastien Corchia and Faouzi Ghoulam, Auxerre forward Paul-Georges Ntep is the latest footballer plying his trade in France to be linked with the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
The Giallorossi are reportedly ready to offer around €4 million for the wantaway winger, whereas Auxerre are holding out for €6 million.
Ntep, 21, has quite a few suitors among Europe’s top clubs, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also admitting interest in the youngster.
Roma currently sit five points behind leaders Juventus ahead of the trip to Turin, with the Giallorossi 5/1 to win the league title.
