Roma eyeing Johnson, Milner

Italian giants AS Roma are considering summer bids for Premier League stars Glen Johnson and James Milner, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Giallorossi have seen a major dip in form following some impressive performances in the first part of the season, and the club officials plan to seriously reinforce the squad over the summer.

And while Shakhtar’s Luiz Adriano is expected to be the first signing of the upcoming transfer window, Roma are also weighing up moves for Glen Johnson and James Milner.

The England internationals will both be out of contract at the end of the season, and it is believed they are ready to leave the English Premier League altogether.

Having seen first team chances severely limited at Anfield, Glen Johnson is almost certain to leave Liverpool when his contract expires, while James Milner is still considering an offer from Manchester City, although chances are he will take any other proposal into an account as well.
