Italian daily Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AS Roma are considering a January move for Lyon midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.
The Giallorossi have enjoyed a brilliant start to the new season, but rather than resting on their laurels, the club are determined to further reinforce the squad this winter.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma are set to launch an assault on Lyon star Yoann Gourcuff.
The Giallorossi boss Rudi Garcia knows the player well from his time in French Ligue 1 and he believes the 27-year-old would have a lot to offer at Stadio Olimpico.
Yoann Gourcuff has had a very disappointing start to his career at Stade Gerland following a big-money move from Bordeaux, but he has been showing signs of improvement of late.
He could, therefore, prove to be a good addition to the team that are 2/1 to see off Inter away for a seventh straight Serie A victory.
