AS Roma are ready to launch a new assault on Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi have been keeping close tabs on the Serbian defender for quite a while, and they are finally ready to make their interest concrete.
Namely, with Dodo picking up an injury during a friendly tour of United States and Federico Balzaretti still sidelined, Roma officials need to act quickly and secure a new left-back for the 2014/2015 season.
And while the Giallorossi would have no problem matching the reported asking price of €12 million, the player’s €4 million yearly wage could prove to be an obstacle to any deal.
Roma officials are also looking at Filipe Luis, Layvin Kurzawa and Luca Antonelli, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Aleksandar Kolarov, 28, should be in the starting line-up when Serbia face Jamaica in an international friendly later today, where the Eagles are 2/5 favourites for the win.
