AS Roma are ready to rekindle their interest in Zenit midfielder Axel Witsel, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
The Giallorossi are adamant they will not be selling Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan, but the reality is they might not be able to reject a big money offer for one of their star players.
It is for that reason that AS Roma officials are in the market for midfield reinforcements, with Axel Witsel back on their radar.
The Belgium star has made it clear that he plans to leave Zenit this summer and a move to Serie A appears on the cards, with AC Milan and Juventus also keen.
AS Roma are also looking at Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj, who has been in fine form this season.
The Croatian midfielder has fared pretty well since arriving at Artemio Franchi two years ago, scoring 2 goals in 47 Serie A matches for Viola.
