Roma are set to move for Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez, according to the Mail Online.
The Serie A side have been in contact with the East Midlands outfit over a potential deal for the 2016 PFA Player of the Season but are far off from meeting the Foxes’ valuation of him.
Roma have pieced together an offer of around £30m plus add-ons though in a summer of vastly inflated transfer fees, Leicester are holding out for around £50m.
Arsenal and Liverpool are keeping an eye on the situation, with the 2016 champions keen to raise as much funds as possible as they look to secure their top targets.
Gylfi Sigurdsson and Kelechi Iheanacho are linked with a move to the King Power Stadium and are likely to cost a combined £75m.
Mahrez has been with Leicester for two and a half seasons, during which time he has racked up one hundred and thirty-eight games scoring thirty-five goals.
