Michy Batshuayi was at Valencia and Crystal Palace last season, but this time he could be loaned to Italy. Chelsea striker is not doing great at his current club and The Sun are claiming that the Belgian forward is a target for AS Roma.
The Serie A club is interested in getting Batshuayi, following the rejection of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean was offered to Roma by Manchester United, with the English club even ready to pay part of his enormous salary, but Sanchez in the end decided against moving to Rome. Now, with that opportunity gone, Roma want Batshuayi, who seems a much more realistic option.
Chelsea are in a problem right now, as they could not do business this summer due to FIFA transfer ban, but despite that, Batshuayi does not have a place in Frank Lampard’s team, as players like Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham are first options in attack.
