According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Roma are gearing up to make a move for Arsenal’s Sead Kolasinac.
The belief is that the defender wants a change of scenery after falling down the pecking order as of late with the Gunners. It’s been an exciting summer transfer window for the club with Mikel Arteta chopping and changing an awful lot, and in the midst of that, players have had to deal with the fact that they’ve dropped out of the first team plans.
Roma aren’t exactly immune when it comes to rehabbing defenders who come over from the Premier League with Chris Smalling proving himself to be one of their best signings in recent memory at the back. Sead Kolasinac may not be able to live up to that, but he’s still capable of doing a job for the Italian side as the Serie A season goes on.
