According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Roma manager Jose Mourinho could be interested in making a move to sign Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio.
Wolves’ number one has just over twelve months left on his current contract with the club and could be intrigued by the possibility of working under Mourinho – even if his reputation has taken a bit of a knock in recent times.
Nuno Espirito Santo hasn’t quite been able to guide the club back to the lofty heights of consecutive seventh place finishes but even with that being the case, many of the players have still seemingly remained loyal to Wanderers – although that’s expected to be tested this summer.
Patricio is possibly one of the best goalkeepers in world football and if he’s serious about taking his career to the next level, nobody could blame him for viewing Roma as a viable and intriguing possibility in the next few months.
