According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are interested in trying to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Nelson Semedo.
The belief is that Jose Mourinho, the club’s new manager, sees Semedo as one to watch and could even put a bid in during the summer transfer window.
It’s safe to say Semedo hasn’t enjoyed the sort of run many would’ve liked during his stint at Molineux but even with that being the case, many believe he still has what it takes to be a world class right-back for many years to come.
Wolves would likely be happy to keep hold of him but given the trajectory they’ve been on in recent months, it seems unlikely to think they’ll be able to do so – especially with Mourinho wanting to make a splash in the market after arriving in Italy.
For now, Semedo’s focus will be on finishing up the season with the Black Country side.
