Out of favour Dutch winger Memphis Depay is heading towards the exit door at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old Netherlands international has fallen down in the pecking order at Manchester United having only made four Premier League appearances thus far and is widely expected to change clubs when January transfer window reopens.
The host of clubs have already expressed their interest in snapping the talented winger with Everton emerging as front-runners for the Manchester United outcast.
The Italian media outlet Corierre dello Sport has today revealed that Serie A giants Roma have joined the chase for Depay as they look to utilise their Dutch connection and use the help of Kevin Strootman to lure his compatriot to Rome.
The two players are represented by the same agency, the Sports Entertainment, which also have Thomas Vermaelen on their books and Giallorossi are confident it could play a part in convincing Memphis to move to Italy.
Depay is coming off from a successful international spell during which he scored two goals for the Netherlands against Luxembourg.
