Paris Saint-Germain striker Jese Rodriguez is looking towards the exit door at Parc des Princes.
Former Real Madrid forward only joined the Ligue 1 giants in the summer, but has struggled greatly to find his footing in Paris.
The striker now looks set to be allowed to leave after only one start for Unai Emery’s side and 9 league appearances in total in a PSG shirt.
The host of Europe’s top clubs have expressed interest in taking Jese on their books with Premier League title challengers Liverpool believed to be leading the line.
However, Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Serie A giants Roma have emerged as the frontrunners for the Las Palmas-born striker. The Italians are keen to wrap up a deal as soon as possible and have already presented the PSG officials with an offer.
Giallorossi are willing to pay around €3 million and cover a hefty chunk of Jese’s weekly wages in a loan deal until the end of the season, with a view to signing the 23-year-old striker on a permanent deal next summer.
