Roma join race for Filipe Luis

Italian giants AS Roma are the latest top side to have joined the chase for Chelsea full-back Filipe Luis, El Mundo Deportivo can reveal.

The Brazilian is heavily linked with a summer exit following a disappointing start to his career in England.

And while former club Atletico Madrid are also considering a move for the €20 million rated footballer, a number of top sides from Italian Serie A are keen on his services.

Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan had been earlier credited with an interest in the Brazil international, but the latest reports suggest AS Roma are in the mix as well.

It is no secret that the Giallorossi are on the lookout for left-sided defender and sporting director Walter Sabatini has made Filipe Luis his number one target.

Should they fail to lure the Brazilian to Stadio Olimpico, Roma will turn their attention to Adriano Correia and Arthur Masuaku.
