Roma keen on Didier Drogba
AS Roma are showing interest in Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba, according to Le 10 Sport.
The Giallorossi have reportedly approached the Ivorian’s agents to enquire about the possibility of luring the player to Stadio Olimpico in the summer.
Roma boss Rudi Garcia seem to believe the veteran forward still has a lot to offer and he is eager to add him to his attacking options.
The 36-year-old’s current deal with Galatasaray is due to expire, but the Turkish giants have the option to extend it for another year.
Didier Drogba has been in fine form this season, having scored 10 goals in 24 league outings, while netting twice in eight Champions League games.
The former Chelsea star is expected to represent Ivory Coast at the 2014 World Cup, which is likely to be his final major competition.
Bautheac on Marseille radar
Marseille are considering a summer swoop for Nice attacker Eric Bautheac, France Football has revealed.
The French giants are on the lookout for a new winger as Andre Ayew is widely tipped to leave the club at the end of the season and the 26-year-old footballer seems to be high on their wish list.
Marseille officials have been keeping close tabs on Bautheac of late and they could make a move ahead of the summer transfer window.
The left winger began his professional career at Cannes, where he scored 15 goals in 77 league appearances before joining Dijon in 2010.
Two very successful seasons at Stade Gaston Gerard helped him earn a switch to Nice, where he has managed to fully realise his potential.
Les Aiglons face a tough task next weekend as they play Monaco away, and they are 9/4 not to lose at Stade Louis II.
Valencia eyeing Evandro
Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has learned that La Liga giants Valencia are keeping close tabs on Estoril midfielder Evandro Goebel.
The 27-year-old has been in stunning form since joining the Primeira Liga high-flyers from Red Star Belgrade and he is heavily linked with a big club move.
Valencia and Stuttgart reportedly lead the chase for his signature, with the two sides expected to step up their interest in the coming weeks.
The good news is the attacking midfielder has just over a year left on his deal with Estoril and a €1.5 million release clause inserted in his contract.
Evandro enjoyed a bright start to his career at the club, scoring 3 goals in 25 league appearances during his first season to help his side achieve Europa League qualification.
The Brazilian has been even more impressive this turn, notching 9 goals in 25 league outings, while scoring twice in ten European fixtures.
