AS Roma are considering a summer bid for Bayer Leverkusen full-back Giulio Donati, reports Tuttosport.
The Giallorossi have secured the first signing of the summer transfer window, having recruited Seydou Keita on a free transfer from Valencia, and they are now turning to other targets.
According to Tuttosport, Roma officials are in talks to sign Italian defender Giulio Donati from Bayer Leverkusen.
The two sides have been negotiating a deal that will see Roma youngster Tin Jedvaj join the Bundesliga outfit on loan, and the Giallorossi representatives used the opportunity to enquire about Donati.
The Stadio Olimpico outfit need cover for veteran defender Douglas Maicon and they will attempt to lure the 24-year-old back to Serie A.
Giulio Donati moved to Bayer Leverkusen from Inter Milan last summer following some impressive displays at the Under-21 European Championship in Israel, going on to feature in 23 Bundesliga matches for die Werkself, while starting no less than 6 Champions League matches.
