AS Roma hope to recruit Swedish midfielder Albin Ekdal from Cagliari this summer, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Giallorossi have opened talks with Isolani over a total of three players, all of whom could end up at Stadio Olimpico in the summer transfer window.
It appears the two sides are close to reaching an agreement for Radja Nainggolan, with Roma expected to buy the remaining half of his contract.
The Giallorossi also aim to turn Victor Ibarbo’s loan deal into permanent move and they plan to wrap up both deals for a combined fee of €18 million.
At the same time, coach Rudi Garcia is a big fan of playmaker Albin Ekdal, meaning sporting director Walter Sabatini will take advantage of the opportunity to enquire about the possibility of signing the Sweden hotshot.
The former Juventus graduate was the only shining star in an otherwise disappointing campaign for Cagliari last term, having managed 5 goals and 3 assists in 33 league outings.
