AS Roma officials will attempt to lure both Diego Perotti and Stephan El Shaarawy to Stadio Olimpico in January, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi are in the market for attacking reinforcements and they are believed to have all but agreed a deal for the Genoa star.
If they do complete the signing of Perotti, AS Roma will have to offload third goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont to make way for their new recruit.
Meanwhile, they are also working on the deal that could see AC Milan hotshot Stephan El Shaarawy return to Italy.
The talented footballer is currently on loan with Monaco, but having failed to impress in the Principality, there is a realistic chance the French club will opt against exercising the buy-out clause.
El Shaarawy, 23, has failed to register a single goal in 15 Ligue 1 appearances this season, although he did net three times in European competitions.
