Italian giants AS Roma are showing interest in Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Giallorossi will allow Leandro Castan to move back to Brazil in an attempt to kick-start his career and they are now in the market for his replacement.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma have made Real Madrid stopper Nacho Fernandez their primary target.
Despite impressing whenever he was called into action, the 26-year-old was never given an opportunity to nail down a regular starting berth at Santiago Bernabeu and it is believed he would consider a winter exit.
At the same time, AS Roma officials are keeping close tabs on Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti, the player who has been linked with a big club move for quite a while.
The Giallorossi will be looking to end a three-match winless run when they face title rivals Juventus, with away win paying 11/2.
