AS Roma have moved to the front of the queue for Cagliari star Radja Nainggolan, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Belgian international is likely to be one of the hottest commodities in the summer transfer market, with a number of Italy’s top clubs believed to be keen.
While Juventus and Inter Milan have already shown interest, Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Roma are winning the race for the player’s signature.
The midfielder and his agent have given the go ahead to the Giallorossi, who are now looking to reach an agreement with Cagliari.
Isolani are holding out for €15 million at the moment, but Roma officials plan to lower the asking price by including some of their talented youngsters in the deal.
Among the players who could go in the opposite direction are Nico Lopez, Federico Viviani, Valerio Verre and Giammario Piscitella, but it remains to be seen whether Cagliari will agree to such an arrangement.
