Il Correre dello Sport has revealed that Roma are set to submit an official proposal for Fiorentina starlet Adem Ljajic.
The Giallorossi are set for a late shopping spree as they are likely to stay without Erik Lamela and possibly Miralem Pjanic as well, and the Serbian forward appears to be the number one name on their hit list.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma are ready to offer €12 million plus bonuses for Ljajic, and they hope to wrap up the deal in the coming days.
The talented footballer has informed Fiorentina chiefs that he won’t be signing a new deal at Artemio Franchi, meaning they have no choice but to cash in on him in the next ten days.
Ljajic has just a year left on his current contract and would be free to negotiate a Bosman move from 1st January.
AC Milan are believed to have a pre-contract agreement with the player, but they could still miss out on the 21-year-old.
