Roma-based daily newspaper Il Messaggero is reporting that Jackson Martinez and Kostas Mitroglou are high on Roma’s hit-list.
Considering that star forward Francesco Totti is nearing the end of his career, Rudi Garcia hopes to sign at least one high-profile striker in the summer.
And according to Il Messaggero, the Frenchman is pondering moves for Jackson Martinez and Kostas Mitroglou.
The Porto star continues to be linked with a move away from Estadio do Dragao and he could finally decided to quit the Dragons in the summer.
His return of 41 goals in 53 league matches for the club basically speaks for itself, although Roma are obviously only one of his suitors.
Meanwhile, Kostas Mitroglou has been unable to make an impact in the Premier League having joined Fulham from Olympiakos in January, and he has so far made just two league appearances for the Cottagers as new boss Felix Magath doesn’t think he is fit enough to cope with the demands of the league.
