Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Roma are keeping close tabs on French footballers Maxime Gonalons and Yohan Cabaye.
The squad at Stadio Olimpico look set to undergo major changes following the arrival of coach Rudi Garcia, with the club officials preparing for life without Daniele De Rossi, who continues to be linked with a summer exit.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma are showing interest in Lyon captain Maxime Gonalons and Newcastle playmaker Yohan Cabaye.
While Gonalons is nearing summer exit following several very successful seasons at Stade Gerland, his compatriot is not too happy at Newcastle and is looking to leave Magpies for a big European club.
The Lyon starlet has developed into one of the best holding midfielders in Europe and has also been linked with a move to the Emirates, whereas Cabaye has kept the rich vein of form in English Premier League and is followed by Manchester United and Monaco.
