Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker has apparently become very sought after these days. According to L’Equipe, Roma are already looking for a replacement. They believe their target is the 19-year-old Alban Lafont of Toulouse, who is among the highest-rated young goalkeepers in Europe.
Meanwhile, Alisson has been heavily linked with Liverpool, and the link has been confirmed by Liverpool Echo, though the latest that has come from their reporter James Pearce is that the Reds’ interest has cooled down. Jürgen Klopp has decided to allow Loris Karius to try and prove the club don’t need to spend big money on a new shot-stopper. So far, the German is doing well and that has prompted the club to inform Alisson’s representatives not to expect a bid just yet.
Apart from Liverpool, Real Madrid have also been linked with the Brazil international, as both David De Gea and Thibaut Courtois are proving hard to acquire.
