Roma midfielder Perrotta salutes Mourinho

(GSM) – Simone Perrotta has praised Jose Mourinho. The Roma midfielder said Italian football will miss the departing Internazionale coach.

Inter pipped Roma to the Scudetto by just two points, but Perrotta believes the competition won’t be the same without Mourinho.

“Everything that Inter have won this year they have deserved – the championship, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League,” Perrotta said in Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He (Mourinho) is a different character. Perhaps there has never been a coach with these qualities in football, both on and off the field.

“He tries to draw attention to himself to take it off the team. He is a winner because he won almost everything.

“We will miss his interviews and press conferences, but he went to a great team.”
