AS Roma and AC Milan were showing interest in Dynamo Kiev winger Andriy Yarmolenko in the past, according to the player’s official representative.
The 26-year-old is probably the best footballer never to have left Ukraine for greener pastures, as he has resisted temptation to join a top European club on several occasions in the past.
Yarmolenko currently has a deal until June 2020 at Dynamo Kiev, but he may decide to move on soon, and his agent has hinted that Italian Serie A could be his next destination.
“Roma and Milan in the past showed interest in the guy, and I think he would do well in Italy,” agent Aleksey Klykov told Radio Crc.
Andriy Yarmolenko will go down as one of the best players in the history of Dynamo Kiev and he has now scored ten league goals or more in each of his last six seasons.
The highly rated footballer has bagged 26 goals in 63 Ukraine caps, and spent every minute on the pitch during Ukraine’s Euro 2016 campaign.
