Roma may have missed out on Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella on transfer deadline day, but they are set to reignite their interest in January, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi were hoping to offload Marco Borriello before launching an assault on the Bianconeri striker, but ultimately failed in their quest.
However, they plan to make a new move on the 30-year-old as soon as the January transfer window opens.
Rudi Garcia is determined to sign an experienced striker to help young Mattia Destro and he has made Fabio Quagliarella his number one target.
In case, the Giallorossi once again fail in their efforts to sign the Juventus striker, they will turn their attention to one of Dario Cvitanich, Bafetimbi Gomis or Andre-Pierre Gignac.
Fabio Quagliarella was looking to leave the Old Lady in search of first team football and was linked with a switch to English Premier League as well, but he is now forced to remain in Turin.
