Roma are weighing up summer move for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi, Il Corriere dello Sport reveals.
The Italy international was linked with Juventus and Napoli last summer, but he eventually remained at El Madrigal.
However, with Villarreal largely struggling on all fronts this season, the Italian is looking to leave the sinking ship and could be set for a move to Italy.
According to Il Corrieire dello Sport, Roma are seriously pondering a summer bid for the player’s services, as Luis Enrique is not entirely satisfied with his attacking options.
Rossi’s representative Federico Pastorello recently revealed that his client was looking to leave El Madrigal at the end of the season.
Villarreal chiefs valued Rossi at €30 million last summer, but after the player missed a big part of the season through injury, his price has dropped significantly.
The 25-year-old has only featured in 9 La Liga games this term, although he managed to score 3 goals in the process.
