Roma full-back John Arne Riise believes Roma’s chances of qualifying for Europe’s premier club competition may rest on the April 25 match against Fiorentina. “I think the match against Fiorentina will be extremely important for fourth place,” the Norwegian said to asroma.no.

Meanwhile, the player also discussed the difference between playing in England and Italy. “In England, the effort in terms of athleticism is superior, because you move back and forth for 90 minutes. The stands in the English stadiums are closer to the pitch and consequently you feel the passion of the fans much more.”
