AS Roma have signed Nicolas Burdisso from Inter Milan for eight million euros, the capital-based club said on Saturday.
The 29-year-old had a highly successful loan spell at Roma last season and earlier this week turned down an offer from Juventus.
Roma will pay the fee over three seasons while Burdisso will earn 4.5 million euros a year, the club said.
Burdisso was part of the Argentina squad that reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup in South Africa.
His younger brother Guillermo, 22, has already joined Roma on loan from Roasario Central, with an option on a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
