La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that AS Roma are on the verge of signing Swedish striker Valmir Berisha from Halmstads.
The Giallorossi have already secured the signatures of talented footballers Leandro Paredes and Antonio Sanabria, and they look set to capture another one of Europe’s hottest prospects.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Halmstads striker Valmir Berisha has landed in Rome this morning ahead of completing a move to Stadio Olimpico.
The Giallorossi are expected to complete all the formalities well ahead of the transfer deadline on Friday.
Valmir Berisha, 17, has yet to be handed a senior debut, but he has largely impressed playing for club and country at youth levels.
The youngster went on to score 7 goals in as many matches at the 2013 Under-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates, earning comparisons with legendary striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the process.
He now appears destined to join one of Europe’s top clubs and Roma fans must be excited to see him in action.
