AS Roma have made Torino full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio their number one target in the winter transfer window, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Four straight draws in Serie A have seriously damaged club’s title bid and also proved that the squad need reinforcements if they are to keep up with reigning champions Juventus.
Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed that Torino’s Danilo D’Ambrosio is currently the first name on the club’s hit-list.
The 25-year-old is enjoying one of the best seasons in his career and the fact he can play on both sides of a back four is considered a big advantage.
And with the player’s contract due to expire at the end of the season, Roma are hoping to secure the deal for a nominal fee in January.
Following the poor run of results, the Giallorossi sit three points behind leaders Juventus, and they are 9/2 for the league title.
