According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Italian side Roma could be forced into selling their biggest stars if they do not qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. The club have had their fair share of problems in recent months, but being forced to sell players for money certainly seems like a desperate situation.
Roma are currently situated in 5th place in Serie A, just one point behind AC Milan. The race is tighter than it has been in a long time, but there are still question marks regarding whether or not they’re well equipped to even compete in the Champions League if they get there.
One player who would serve as a particularly lucrative loss is Cengiz Under, who has just started to come into his own at the club. Under has been heavily linked with a series of top European sides over the course of the last few months.
