According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Roma are interested in a possible swap deal involving Tammy Abraham and Romelu Lukaku.
Ever since arriving in Italy, Tammy Abraham has found new life. After being unable to get consistent first team time in the Premier League, the Englishman has been able to give his career the boost it needed. Plus, at the age of 25, he’s barely even entered his prime – leaving a whole lot of room for improvement and further success in the future.
On the flip side, Romelu Lukaku is currently on loan with Inter Milan from Chelsea. The controversial forward has had a bumpy road, to say the least, across the last couple of years, with Serie A being a league that’s been exceptionally kind to him in that period of time.
The report in question indicates that a swap deal would see Abraham head back to Chelsea with Lukaku going to Roma, although we aren’t sure how popular that would be with the fans in Italy.
