According to some reports in Italy, Roma are interested in the possibility of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Leander Dendoncker. The 23 year old has been unable to break his way into the first team on a consistent basis at Molineux, despite garnering a lot of attention when his loan move from Anderlecht was initially confirmed.
Roma have yet to make a formal bid to sign the Belgian international, who actually featured at the 2018 FIFA World Cup for his country.
It would seem as if Wolves would be willing to change his deal in some manner, as they really don’t appear to be set on giving him more consistent opportunities in the first team. That wouldn’t be all too surprising, given that they’ve got a lot of strong midfield options right now.
AS Roma are currently 6th in Serie A as they continue to push for a spot in the top four.
