Poli TimiÅŸoara midfielder and promising Romanian starlet, Cristian Daminta, has signed a four year deal with Italian champions Inter Milan, according to Romanian sports site, Sport365. The youngster, just 18 years old, becomes Inter’s first signing of the summer as the clubs looks to sort out who will be manager next season.
Potential manager Jose Mourinho might have an adverse reaction to the transfers of players in and out of the club without his permission. At least that is what history teaches us when it comes to football. AC Milan striker Shevchenko was brought to Chelsea by Roman Abramovich, according to some sources, and that lead to the eventual departure of the Portuguese manager.
Back to the player, Daminuta’s salary is reported to be somewhere around €50,000 per year, according to the same Sport365. The salary is a joke compared to other players who earn twice that amount in a single week, but that is the price that he has to pay for being a youngster in a team full of superstars. After all, Martins started on a very similar contract while at Inter and he has now become a superstar reported to be earning £90,000 per week.
