AS Roma and Lazio are both keen on Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Gialorossi plan to further reinforce the wing positions in Luciano Spalletti’s 4-3-3 formation, and they believe the Belgian footballer would be a good addition to the squad.
Meanwhile, Lazio have yet to sign proper replacement for Antonio Candreva, and they, too, are currently looking at the 22-year-old.
And with Anderlecht’s asking price, believed to be between €10m and €12m, well within the price range of both clubs, the local rivals could be involved in a real bidding war as the end of the summer transfer window draws closer.
Dennis Praet has spent his entire professional career up to date at Anderlecht, scoring 27 goals and setting up another 39 in 181 competitive appearances.
He was heavily linked with a move to Sevilla in the January transfer window, but the deal failed to materialise.
