Serie A champions Juventus are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and the Italian media report Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has emerged as a transfer target for Bianconeri.
The Belgian international has failed to live to expectations at Old Trafford and has thus far been unable to justify his hefty price tag. Lukaku was absent from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first game in charge against Cardiff after taking compassionate leave and is not expected back in the team until after the festive fixtures.
In the meantime, his long-term future at Old Trafford is being debated. The former Chelsea and Everton star is now seen as a replacement for Mario Mandzukic in Turin.
The Italian media claiming that Manchester United would not mind selling the Belgian in attempt to recoup a large amount of the £75 million invested in his signature.
Lukaku made 12 Premier League appearances this season and scored six goals during that time.
