Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku has suggested he would be open to a move to Serie A in the future.

The Manchester United striker gave an interview to Gazzetta Dello Sport and stated he ‘hoped’ a transfer to Italy could materialize.

“Why not? I hope so”, Lukaku said, at the same time heaping praise on Manchester United’s next rival in the Champions League – Juventus.

“Juventus have a great project in place and they just keep going. Every year they try to get stronger. Without a doubt, Juve are one of the two or three best teams in Europe. They’ve got a great coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.”

Romelu Lukaku scored four goals in eight matches this season but failed to find the back of the net in last three.

On the other side, he’s international form has been remarkable as the towering striker notched 28 goals and 5 assists in his last 26 games for Belgium.
