According to a recent report from Daily Star, Sergio Romero is set to hold crunch talks with Manchester United regarding his future at Old Trafford.
The Argentine is believed to be upset that the club blocked his proposed summer exit, and now, questions are circulating as to whether or not he’ll be able to get the move he wants during the January transfer window.
At the age of 33 it’s clear to see he wants to be playing first team football, and now that he’s fallen behind both David de Gea and Dean Henderson in the pecking order at United, it makes sense for him to look elsewhere.
Romero is still capable of doing a job for most clubs across European football, but if he wants to be given the chance to prove that, he needs to ensure the talks with United go as smoothly as possible in the next few days and maybe even weeks.
