Juventus are considering a summer bid for Fiorentina midfielder Romulo, Il Corriere dello Sport understands.
The Bianconeri aim to sign a right-sided full-back to provide competition for Stephan Lichtsteiner, and they have made the Brazilian one of their primary targets.
Juventus officials have been impressed by the player’s performances during the loan spell at Hellas Verona and hope to lure him to Turin at the end of the current campaign.
The only problem is that the player is still owned by their bitter rivals Fiorentina, but the Bianconeri are confident they will be able to reach an agreement with his employers.
Romulo was loaned to Hellas Verona after being unable to prove his worth at Artemio Franchi and that proved to be an excellent decision for all the parties concerned.
The 26-year-old largely impressed in a wide midfield role at Bentegodi, having managed 4 goals and 6 assists in 22 Serie A matches this season.
