Ronaldinho almost joined Man City

Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho has revealed he was on the verge of joining Manchester City over the summer.

The former Barcelona ace instead decided to join Italian giants AC Milan, after falling out of favour at the Spanish side.

“My brother spoke to Manchester City many times,” the 28-year-old told FourFourTwo magazine.

“Their project is the kind that would interest any player – they could soon be among the best sides in England.

“Lots of brilliant players are heading in their direction and yes, my brother looked properly at their offer.

“But Silvio Berlusconi [Milan owner] had been saying for years that he would like to sign me and I felt in the end that it was the right time to say yes.”

Ronaldinho was indeed very lucky that he did not move during the summer transfer window to manchester city because that would have ended his footballing carrer.
If u go thru history books, brazilians have had terrible carrers in d EPL likes of jo, rafael sobis.unlike some who have already adapted to the english style of play, the likes of geovanni and new signing striker robinho.
Robinho has made the worst decision of his life by going to the eastlands. He went there due to the clubs financial status and billionaire owner. The worst is ahead in his carrer he didnt decide before going to manchester city. he didnt compare the spanish league to the EPL before moving so
    ROBINHO WELCOME ON BOARD!!!
