(GSM) – Milan forward Ronaldinho has send a warning to Manchester United ahead of their confrontation on Wednesday by stating that ‘nothing is impossible’.
Ronaldinho is undaunted by United’s 3-2 advantage heading into Wednesday’s Champions League return at Old Trafford. The Brazilian star believes Milan have enough big-game players to record a historic win over the Red Devils.
“It will be a very difficult match, but nothing is impossible,” said Ronaldinho.
“I think it’s going to be a very beautiful match.
“We need a positive result so we’ll be playing for the victory. They’ll be playing at home with their own style because their coach always makes them play that way and so it has all the ingredients needed to be a great match.”
Ronaldhino has an excellent season so far and already has nine goals and 15 assists in Serie A this season. His good performances helped plug the gap left in the Milan team by Kaka’s move to Real Madrid.
“To tell you the truth, I’ve been planning to have a year like this,” added the former Barcelona star.
“I was working hard and thinking about this in pre-season so I’m very happy to be putting the dream into practice.
“I had a time at Barcelona when we didn’t win titles and when you don’t win titles it’s normal the players get scrutinised, but I’m happy to be back at a great club fighting in two competitions.”
Ronaldinho tasted Champions League glory with Barca four years ago when they beat Arsenal in Paris and he dreams of getting his hands on the European Cup again.
“That would be wonderful,” he said.
“I won the Champions League and there was a moment in the final when we lifted the trophy and I was right next to our captain Puyol – it’s an image that will always be in my mind.”
