Ronaldo back to Sporting Lisbon?

According to a recent report from Record, Cristiano Ronaldo’s family want to see him return to Sporting Lisbon when he leaves Juventus.

The veteran started his career with the Portuguese club who, as of this writing, are unbeaten in Primeira Liga this season and look set to claim the title. Sporting have been through plenty of ups and downs ever since Ronaldo first left to join Manchester United, kickstarting his insane rise to superstardom that still continues to this day.

Ronaldo has played for some of the biggest clubs in world football but we all know there’s no place like home, and CR7 would likely love nothing more than to help guide this team back to a level of real prominence on the European stage.

Can he do it? Only time will tell, because you can bet plenty of other clubs will be in the running for his signature this summer and beyond.
